TEXT: Psalm 82:6, Ecclesiastes 7:11-12, Malachi 4:2, Jeremiah 32:41, Isaiah 61:3, Romans 12: 1, Proverbs 22:1, Proverbs 14:23, Psalm 19: 1.
“. . . Present your bodies unto God as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service” Romans 12: 1. A believer has to be present in person prior to presenting your bodies. Prayer follows sacrifice; only after a believer has presented his body unto God, will his prayers be answered.
The glory of prepared marriage is obtained from a God-fearing parental home in Christ, where the aspects and roles are clearly demonstrated by fathers and mothers to the glaring eyes of children. Grooming is parental duty; the enduring inheritance of a good name consists of character, fruit of the spirit, and sound judgment. This enduring inheritance begins from a parental home in Christ. “A good name is rather to be chosen than riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold” Proverbs 22:1
“In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury” (Proverbs 14:23) It is works that declares how wise a man is; the wisdom of God is demonstrated in His works. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork” Psalm 19: 1
● True Image and Likeness of God
● Word-Son Life
● Godliness
“I have said: ye are gods; and all of you are the children of the most High” Psalm 82:6. All believers must live like God Himself
● A Must-Work-It-Out Labour
Man has been designed to work and labour; an essential feature of God’s image is work and labour.
● Destiny. This is what every one is really created for. A believer must know his destiny, remain in his destiny and fulfill it.
● Father-God Business: This level of inheritance comprises spiritual, biological and personal: the business of God, your heavenly Father; the business your earthly father; and your own personal business.
“Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun” Ecclesiastes 7:11. If a Christian does not abide or remain in the place of service where God has planted him, he cannot obtain the profit and promise from God. Profit is a product of labour; it is the evidence of growth, increase and success. Profit is the assurance and protection of tomorrow.
When the sun rises and shines, only plants still attached to the ground of the earth can profit from the energy of the sun. ” Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole soul” Jeremiah 32:41. Your continuation to abide in the place of your calling is the proof of your understanding of the fear of the Lord. Abide, stand firm and be steadfast in the place where God planted you; this is the key to prosperity and success, both heavenly and earthly. We, Christians, are plantings of the Lord. “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up . . .” Malachi 4:2. “. . .that they might be called the trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified” Isaiah 61:3.
“For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the Excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it” Ecclesiastes 7:12. If you do not work and labour, you cannot make money and get profit. If you have knowledge, it will give you vision which can be translated to work. Knowledge is obtained through learning, not by prayer and impartation. You must pay the price for learning. Although money is a defence, the defence of wisdom exceeds that of money; only wisdom gives life and peace. Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God; so seek first the knowledge and kingdom of God. The wisdom of God is revealed in the Word of God.
