It is important for us to understand what the scripture is all about. We must know the purpose, writer, and author of the scripture. The scripture is a word which is God that is put in the image and likeness in the person of Jesus Christ. The Scripture is a compound word formed from the words ‘script’ and ‘sure’
Script is something written by somebody in a formal and primary form. God as the creator does not want his creation to be ignorant so he put the knowledge down in a script so that man can acquire knowledge and know the origin of things. The script was tested seven times and confirmed to be pure and true. He made this script in His son; Jesus Christ.
The scripture is script sure and it is called the Holy Scripture. There is only one source of Holiness which is God. There are other types of script written by men but it is not script sure. Script creates an image and likeness for anyone who desires to study and believe the script he is given. The purpose of the script is to turn you into his image and likeness of the scripter. When you dwell on the script of the Father, it becomes a part of you and your personality becomes an expression of the script that has been put in you. An in-depth infusing of the script in you makes you a leader. A leader is one who has received and imbibed knowledge. A leader is so because he has gained control over himself and trained himself based on the content of the script his character is patterned after. The purpose of the scripture is to publish, reveal and establish the proper identity, image of God who alone is the number one scripter.
It is the reasonable duty of everyman who is created of God to search. Searching and reading the scripture in spirit and truth gives life. If you are not seeking the scripture you will get lost and taken away by the enemy. We are all in the Journey of asking and seeking. Your degree of searching and seeking will determine the degree of what you will get. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Rev. 19:10). The spirit always go ahead of you.
There were scripts of prophecy which was inspired and written by God in Genesis down to Revelation which gives light and knowledge to us. And you can only get the Scripts of prophecy when you search the scripture.
Apart from seeking and finding, if man does not get to the last point which is “knocking” at the right time and place, he is lost. Jesus Christ is the door, the truth and the light. He is the channel between us and God the Father. Jesus is the personal name of God, the Father, which he gave to the Son, which is why it is said that he inherited the name.
